The diplôme de docteur-ingénieur (doctor-engineer diploma) existed in the previous regulations before the 1984 reform. There is now only one doctorate, called the "doctorat nouveau régime" (new regime doctorate), which is a national diploma with the mention of the university or the institution having issued it.
Le diplôme de docteur-ingénieur existait dans la règlementation antérieure à la réforme de 1984. Il existe maintenant un seul doctorat, appelé doctorat « nouveau régime » qui est un diplôme national portant la mention de l’université ou de l’établissement l’ayant délivré.
